New CEO of EcoFishCircle

We're pleased to announce that Daniel Jakobsen will be taking on the role of CEO at EcoFishCircle

Our current manager, Smiljana Divjak, has decided to step aside this autumn. We are grateful for her leadership, which has helped EFC achieve important milestones and laid the foundation for future growth. Fortunately, she will not go far — as she will continue to contribute as a board member of Gas 2 Feed.

Daniel, who has been with us since spring 2022, knows the company inside out. With a Civil Engineering degree in Energy and Process Engineering from NTNU and an MBA from IE Madrid, he is well equipped to lead us forward. Before joining EFC, Daniel worked at BearingPoint, where he focused on operations and supply chain management for large Norwegian food producers, including the meat, dairy and seafood industry.

Chairman Terje Mikalsen has the following comment about the new CEO: "In addition to formal education with excellent academic results, Daniel also has important experience from the Norwegian food production industry, including major players in the seafood industry. He has also been manager for our Lista project, securing the permits for an annual production of 6,000 tonnes of salmon. Daniel ensures continuity in the company, and we are very happy to bring him on as our new CEO."
